And that is The Pianist done dusted and bloody well finished!!
Thanks to all those who gave up just about everything to help us and we can only keep apologising for how long it took.

Well i suppose its on to new horrizons and time to enter the weird world of animation......anyone know someone who can draw!

WEDNESDAY 13/05/09

And the soundtrack is done! Awesome work everybody, well mainly to the band and Steve, seeing as Adam and myself just sat around eating junk and talking rubbish, but it was time very well spent, we have four fantastic tracks and it was a great experience too! Cheer boys, roll on the next session!

MONDAY 04/05/09

Well hello again! Seems it's been a while since the last post so I thought it was about time to dig out the password and update this site!

It's all good news Gnome fans, we're fast approaching the studio time to get WHISKY BLITZ in to lay down the soundtrack for 'The Pianist'. It's been a long process to this point, but now it feels like the end is firmly within our grasp. Here's to a three day music mixing fest, rock on!

Thanks again for all those who have given up their time for this production, Julie Hutchins at the Oxford Times and the lovely Sue Carter at Jack FM to name but two.

SATURDAY 18/08/08

It's 21.30hrs and somewhere, a film has just wrapped...

Well, that's it boys and girls and everything else. The Pianist shoot is over!

Actors have gone, sound effects have been created and one director is looking forward to a nice long sleep. It has been one hell of a fun week, apart from the slight technical hiccup with the old mic on the first Saturday, but that didn't bother me, I was doing my bit for the set dressing and smoking 5 cigarettes at once. Go me!

Anyway, it all worked out. Had a great cast, the best yet! I thank you all from the bottom of my black cold heart, it was a joy meeting & working with you. (hope to do it again one day)

Now the fun begins, dishing out expenses and the joy of going through the footage again and fishing out the best bits.

Well, I've got 7hours of footage to play with so if you'll excuse me.

NEW FILM ALERT...

Un-Gnome Productions is proud to present....... 'The Pianist' ((working title))

Well it's that time of year again!

Yep that's right folks, Coral has just about recovered from sorting everything out for us for 'Just In A Story' so we decided to make another film! Hurray for us!

And this time we're bigger and better than ever.

Mostly again due to Coral organising stuff and being the nice polite personable person that the public first meets, rather than either me or Adam. For some reason, when the public meet us, there tends to be a double take, a slight awkward pause and then they run off to a convent somewhere, whether they believe in God I don't know, but they do seem rather convinced they've just met the Devil.

I don't get it.

Anywho to get back on topic, 'The Pianist' is yet another gangster film, ((we just can't help it, I think it's a sickness)) but much to Adam's dismay there aren't any gunfights, unnecessary swearing or buckets of fake blood. It would seem that the maturity people said would eventually affect me has finally started to kick in.

Disappointing isn't it...?

Due to be shot in the early part of the August month, we're hoping to have a finished short by September, so with a fair wind blowing you should start seeing it in the festivals shortly after that.

Assuming of course that you go to film festivals and the like, if you don't you could always contact one of us and I'm sure we'd be delighted to inflict our films on you via one of those shiny circular disks.
